GamblingCompliance Global Regulatory Awards to take place 18 April, 2018 at the Sheraton Grand London, Park Lane
Now it’s in second year, the annual GamblingCompliance Global Regulatory Awards will recognise excellence in the field of regulatory compliance and responsible gambling.
Following the success of the inaugural 2017 event, which saw over 350 regulatory professionals from across the spectrum of the gambling industry attend, the 2018 awards ceremony will feature 15 different categories which will be presented to winners on the night.
In association with Gamble Aware, the awards recognise individuals and organisations who have excelled in the field of compliance, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and responsible gambling over the course of the year, protecting the integrity of the brands they represent, while also ensuring that responsible guidelines and complex regulatory requirements are adhered to, and players protected. New categories to be included for 2018, include Data Protection Officer of the Year; Compliance Payment Service or Solution Provider of the Year, and Compliance Outstanding Achievement Award.
Also new for 2018 is the venue, which will be hosted at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane. First opened in 1927, the Sheraton is steeped in London’s history having opened during the Roaring Twenties and retaining the glamorous Art Deco elegance throughout its time.
David Morgan, CEO GamblingCompliance, commented; “The overwhelming popularity of last year’s inaugural event proves how much is being achieved across the industry. Last year’s nominees were outstanding, with winners setting the benchmark, and this year we expect even better. The new categories and larger venue exemplifies our objective to share and champion these industry achievements, so that we can continue to innovate and raise awareness of best practice.”
Marc Etches, CEO of Gamble Aware, said, "GambleAware is pleased to once again partner with GamblingCompliance. It is essential that the gambling industry raise its operating standards to minimise gambling-related harm. These awards offer an opportunity to celebrate individuals, teams and companies that are making a positive and meaningful impact in terms of the well being of gamblers, and to encourage an improved sense of social responsibility throughout the industry.”
GamblingCompliance are proud to welcome Novomatic as official sponsors for the event.
The gala dinner will welcome over 400 guests and take place at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, April 18, 2018.
