Daily fantasy sports (DFS) industry leaders DraftKings and FanDuel are set to wage another expansive U.S. lobbying campaign in 2017, with the companies having so far registered lobbyists in 34 states, according to records analyzed by GamblingCompliance Research Services (GCRS).
In this brief report, GCRS has identified the top ten states where DraftKings and FanDuel are most likely to focus their lobbying efforts in 2017. Those states were selected for size of population, current legal and enforcement climate, and lobbyist deployments, among other factors.
