Tribal Gaming: Supplier Licensing
11th Apr 2019 | Written by: Allegra Lapetina
This special report outlines the licensing requirements for suppliers of gaming equipment to Indian casinos in major tribal gaming markets across the United States.
Tribal government gaming is regulated at federal, state and tribal level. At federal level, the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, 25 U.S.C §2701 et seq., (IGRA) divides gaming into three categories and provides a general framework for tribal gaming. Class I gaming includes social games and traditional/ceremonial games. An Indian tribe can offer Class I games without restriction.
