Special Report: U.S. Ballot Initiatives and Gubernatorial Races – November 2018

Voters across the United States headed to the polls on November 6 to determine the outcome of key gambling initiatives as well as to elect new state governors that will influence gaming policy for at least the next four years.

On November 6, voters in 36 states, including Nevada, voted for new governors plus state senators and representatives. In addition, every member of the U.S. House or Representative and 35 U.S. senators will be up for re-election in congressional mid-term elections, which could alter the balance of power in Washington, D.C. as well. The Democrats took the majority in the House, while the Senate will remain under Republican control.
