Strong contributions from online slots and bookmaker-friendly results during Euro 2016 helped lift Spanish online gambling revenue 43 percent to €201.2m in the first half of 2016.
Data published last week by Spanish regulator Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGoJ) showed that market-wide online gross gambling revenue rose 56.3 percent year-on-year to €98.8m in the second quarter of 2016.
Following on from record revenue of €102.3m in the preceding quarter, the latest set of statistics show that the regulated Spanish online market grew 43.1 percent to €201.2m in the first half of the year.
