Sky Betting & Gaming is estimated to have grown net gaming revenue by around 60 percent in the first half of the year, significantly outperforming peers at the top end of the UK online gambling market for the second year in a row.
The mass-market specialist reported on Monday that group revenue for the year to June 2016 jumped 51 percent to £373.6m on 31 percent growth in active customers to 1.95m and a 15 percent increase in average revenue per customer to £192.
Where growth in fiscal 2015 had been driven almost entirely by increased revenue per customer, around two-thirds of last year’s gain could be attributed to a broadening of the group’s active player base, with improved player yields accounting for one-third.
