Nevada’s casinos, although they currently do not, could begin taking bets on e-sports competitions right now, a casino executive said at a major gambling academic conference in Las Vegas.
“There is clearly an opportunity to bet on e-sports in Nevada,” Seth Schorr, chairman of the Downtown Grand casino in downtown Las Vegas, said Thursday. “This is one of the last opportunities for us to take advantage of. E-sports caters to a market segment that is difficult to reach.”
