Will Atlantic City Become Silicon Valley Of Internet Gambling?

Hoping to make Atlantic City an international hub for internet gambling infrastructure, a United Kingdom technology company plans to spend $5m this year to build a data center at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

Construction on the project is expected to begin this fall with the goal of opening the data center early next year, according to Continent 8 Technologies.

The company intends to connect the data center in Atlantic City to a network including more than 30 of Continent 8’s facilities around the world.

Continent 8 is the only independent IT provider licensed by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
