The Virginia Lottery released its second phase of draft sports-betting regulations on Monday, which borrowed from Tennessee’s regulations to include strict advertising restrictions on potential operators.
The regulations govern a wide variety of issues related to the proposed launch of sports betting as early as January 2021, including the use of official league data, integrity monitoring provisions, and technology and geolocation requirements, among other issues.
