Virginia Casino Study Projects Almost $1bn In Annual Net Gaming Revenues

A legislative economic impact study on the potential Virginia casino market indicates that authorizing a market with five casinos, sports betting, and online casino gaming could bring in almost $370m in annual tax revenues for the state.

The Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) released a report on Monday that was commissioned following the passage of Senate Bill 1126 earlier this year.
