Almost two-and-a-half years after handing the gambling industry perhaps its most important legal victory ever, the U.S. Supreme Court is on the verge of adding a new justice whose record could be problematic for Indian gaming.

Amy Coney Barrett, 48, served as a law clerk for the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who was not considered a friend of Indian Country.
