A group of U.S. sports-betting operators is set to announce the formation of a new integrity monitoring association in order to share reports of suspicious betting patterns across stakeholders in a market expanding rapidly state to state.
The formation of the Sports Wagering Integrity Monitoring Association, which is expected to be announced as soon as today, will see participants in the expanding U.S. sports-betting market detect and share data related to any suspicious transactions with fellow sportsbook operators, state and tribal gaming regulators, and other law-enforcement bodies.
