U.S. Operators Follow European Model Of Integrity Monitoring

Twenty-four of the leading sports-betting companies in the United States have joined MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment as founding members of a non-profit group to uncover and prevent suspicious wagering.

The Sports Wagering Integrity Monitoring Association, or SWIMA, is patterned after the European Sports Security Association, or ESSA, which sees online betting operators across Europe share intelligence on suspicious wagering patterns with each other and with regulatory authorities.
