UK Lawmaker Introduces Bill To Record Gambling-Related Suicide

A member of the UKs House of Lords has introduced a bill that would allow coroners to record gambling addiction as a factor behind suicide, in a bid to influence future policymaking decisions.

The Coroners (Determination of Suicide) Bill 2020 is a private members bill introduced by Bishop of St Albans Alan Smith and has already passed its first reading in the Lords.
