The UK government has instructed gambling firms to ensure they adhere to shifting data processing requirements and other new rules in the event of a no-deal Brexit, among a list of warnings indicating the UK-based industry will not escape the chaos of a disorderly EU exit.
The eight-point checklist published on the government’s website shows what gambling businesses should do to ensure they can continue trading effectively if the UK leaves the EU without a deal on October 31.
