UK Gambling Commission Penalises Kindred's Platinum Gaming

The UK Gambling Commission has assessed Kindred Group’s Platinum Gaming £1.6m for money laundering prevention failings after a convicted fraudster was allowed to gamble £630,000, the regulator’s second such penalty in two days.

“The customer’s deposits were so high and losses so significant Platinum Gaming should have considered refusing or barring service to the customer,” the Gambling Commission said today. “Instead the operator continued to allow the customer to gamble.”
