Payments industry experts have criticised the UK’s incoming credit card gambling ban for failing to address potential loopholes that could see problem gamblers easily circumvent it.
On Tuesday, the Gambling Commission announced that gambling with a credit card will be banned from April 14, due to its potential to lead to “significant financial harm”, according to Neil McArthur, the chief executive of the Gambling Commission.
