UK’s In-Running Betting Study Sees No Evidence For Policy Change

A consultation process conducted by the UK Gambling Commission has found there is not yet sufficient evidence to justify regulatory restrictions to limit ‘live’ or ‘in-running’ betting opportunities offered by UK-based bookmakers.The Gambling Commission yesterday announced that it has completed its review of integrity concerns surrounding in-running betting, and concluded that there was insufficient evidence to suggest any link between the growth in popularity of the activity and an increased risk to the integrity of sporting competitions.
