Turkey’s Operators Flock To Lottery Side Bets

New operators are queuing up to follow the example of the first two websites already offering punters betting based on the events conducted by authorised licensees Spor Toto and Milli Piyango online, according to reports from Turkey. National dailies Gucluhaber and Hurriyet have reported that the two authorised websites launched so far - nesine.com, owned by the Doğan Group, and bilyoner.com, co-owned by Çukurova Holding’s Demir Toprak and Greece’s Intralot – have attained a market share of 13 percent of the total 6.5bn Turkish Lira ($4.24bn) gaming spend in the country.
