Tribal Gaming Revenues Surge As Bluhm Fumes In Massachusetts

On the same day Indian gaming regulators announced gross gaming revenue for tribes approached $34bn in 2018, the owner of Chicago’s Rush Street Gaming declared he is fed up with “hanging around” in Massachusetts.

Indian gaming produced $33.7bn in fiscal year 2018, an increase of just over 4 percent from 2017, according to figures released Thursday by the National Indian Gaming (NIGC).

This marks the eighth consecutive year of increases for the Indian gaming industry, which continues its inexorable march to surpass mainstream casinos in annual revenue.
