Top Dutch Regulator Asks Prospective Licence Holders To Behave Themselves

The most senior Dutch gambling regulator has asked the industry to behave better than in neighbouring countries, in the hopes that the Netherlands can avoid the now familiar path of political backlash.

With the Dutch market set to open in Summer 2021, the chairman of the Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA), René Jansen, said he believed gambling was an even more touchy subject in the Netherlands than in the UK or other nearby jurisdictions.
