Tennessee’s online sports betting legislation enacted this summer created the first European-style open licensing model in the U.S., and draft regulations released Friday show further European influences on the state’s regime.
One of the biggest areas where the Tennessee Lottery’s proposed regulations mirror European markets is in proposing notably stronger advertising restrictions than have been adopted in any U.S. jurisdiction to date.
