Technology Platforms Key To Preventing Underage Gambling Exposure

A UK Gambling Commission spokesperson believes that the technology already exists to prevent under-18s from viewing gambling adverts online, but stopping the exposure of vulnerable groups all to gambling-related content on tech platforms such as Twitter and YouTube poses a complicated problem.

The Gambling Commission was one of several stakeholders present at a briefing held by GambleAware in London on Tuesday to discuss the findings of the charity’s research into gambling-related advertising.
