The Swedish government has said it has no plans to sell any part of state-owned Svenska Spel, despite concerns that the monopoly operator may have an unfair advantage in the portions of the market it will soon share with private operators.
Sweden’s highly anticipated draft law on gambling was published in full on Monday and has now officially been submitted to the Swedish parliament. An amended timeline for the bill suggests that a final vote on the draft will take place on June 7.
