Significant changes may soon be made to a Michigan internet gambling bill that has sat idle on the Senate floor since it was released from committee earlier this year, according to a draft of the proposed changes obtained by GamblingCompliance this week.
The measure in question, Senate Bill 203, got off to a fast start. It was introduced on March 1 and then, just eight days later, was approved by the Senate Regulatory Reform Committee, several of whose members are listed as co-sponsors of the bill.
The closely-watched measure has not moved since.
