Stars Stung With €400,000 Fine In Latest Dutch Breach

The Stars Group has joined the long list of operators with its timely entry into the Dutch online market endangered following a fine from the country’s regulator.

The Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA) said that it had fined Malta-based TSG Interactive Gaming Europe Limited €400,000 for targeting the country with its online poker website.

In line with similar cases, the regulator found that Stars was in breach of its "prioritisation criteria", through which it establishes whether or not a website is actively courting players from the Netherlands.
