Sports-betting operators are continuing to flock toward the Rocky Mountains to complete market access deals in Colorado after the passage of friendly legislation and draft regulations that also appear to be conducive to a competitive market.
The latest dominoes to fall in the market access derby may have been two of the most significant, as Twin River Worldwide Holdings announced market access partnerships in Colorado only with both DraftKings and FanDuel.
Twin River completed its acquisition of three properties, Golden Gates, Golden Gulch, and Mardi Gras casinos in Black Hawk last week, allowing them up to three sports-betting licenses, due to House Bill 1327 limiting casinos to one skin per casino.
