Spain’s incoming coalition government will introduce new gambling advertising restrictions, revisit taxes on online gambling and look to limit opening hours for land-based betting outlets, according to a formal coalition agreement published on Monday.
The policies were included in a 50-page accord revealed on December 30 by the country’s Socialist and left-wing Podemos parties, with a minority coalition government of the two parties now reportedly set to be formed within the next week or so.
