Gambling advertising will be restricted to the early-morning hours in Spain and sports clubs will need to end gambling sponsorship contracts at the end of the current season as the Council of Ministers approved a controversial royal decree on Tuesday.
The restrictions were denounced by Spain's biggest online gambling trade group, Jdigital, as "discriminatory, unfair and disproportionate".
