Soft U.S. Regional Gaming Trends Continue Into Q3

U.S. regional gaming revenue was broadly unchanged year-on-year for the second quarter in a row in the third quarter of 2016, as continued softness in oil-dependent states and a weak August across the board weighed on market growth.

According to data published by state gambling boards over the course of October, overall gaming revenues across the U.S. regional casino sector edged up 0.4 percent year-on-year to $7.30bn in the third quarter of 2016.
