Silver Heritage Sanctions Nepal Partner Over Work Visa Rift


Having weathered the troubled birth of Nepal’s Tiger Palace Resort, owner Silver Heritage Group now faces open dissent from within as its local partner lashes out over the hiring of foreign employees.

Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)-listed Silver Heritage Group handed out an unspecified punishment to its Nepal-based partner and warned of more to come after the unexpected public dispute over work visas.

Rajendra Bajgain, described in the report as “chairman of Tiger Palace Resort” and chair of Silver Heritage’s locally registered company Silver Heritage Investment, told the English-language Republica daily that five senior staff at the resort have been illegally employed for six months.
