The contest to choose who will win a €220m contract to supply Poland’s national lottery has come down to a face-off between International Game Technology (IGT) and Scientific Games.
Poland’s state-owned operator Totalizator Sportowy has shortlisted two companies in its quest to acquire a new lottery system for its land-based and online operations.
The existing contract with IGT is set to expire in November 2021.
Another two offers, submitted by Greece’s Intralot and local operator Chmury Krajowej (OCK) — a joint venture between the state-run Polish Development Fund and state-owned bank PKO BP — have been discarded, according to the information obtained by local daily Puls Biznesu.
