Reversed Judges May Have Had Enough Of New Jersey Sports Betting

A recent decision by a federal judge in New Jersey suggests courts may be reluctant to revisit cases involving sports betting in the wake of the historic U.S. Supreme Court ruling in May.

On November 16, U.S. District Judge Michael Shipp of Trenton, New Jersey refused to even schedule a hearing on an appeal by the New Jersey Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (NJTHA) seeking $153m from the nation’s sports leagues.
