Responsible Gambling Collaborative Urges States To Designate Funds For Treatment, Prevention

A group of academics, researchers, advocacy groups and gaming organizations have joined forces to unify the industry to drive problem and responsible gambling efforts, while promoting responsible gambling programs across the U.S.

At the winter meeting of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) on Saturday, the Responsible Gambling Collaborative (RGC) unveiled six principles that it believes are the most effective ways to address the issue.

The RGC, which was formed in 2018, also released a state-by-state study on the allocation of funding to treat problem gambling and for responsible gambling programs.
