Reopening Restrictions For Casinos Compared To Airport Security Changes After 9/11

As casinos reopen, they are experimenting with security restrictions similar to airports in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, according to a tribal gaming consultant.

“Nobody would argue that where we are at right now with airport security is anything near as easy or as comfortable as what it was pre-9/11,” said James Klas, an economic development consultant and founder of KlasRobinson QED in Minneapolis.
