Questions Persist After Suspension Of NFL Player For Betting Against His Team

The gaming industry does not appear to be losing any sleep over the indefinite suspension of Arizona Cardinals defensive back Josh Shaw by the National Football League (NFL) for wagering on games this year, including betting against his own team.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Shaw, 27, on November 29 for the remainder of this season and the 2020 season. Shaw reportedly has appealed his suspension.

Even after that, it is not clear if Shaw will be allowed to return to the NFL.

Before he was suspended, Shaw already was sidelined because of a shoulder injury that has prevented him from playing at all this season.
