The departure of the chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) on Friday could be just the beginning of a major overhaul of the agency by the Trump administration.
After being nominated by President Obama in April 2015 to be NIGC chairman and serving the agency in various capacities for six years, Jonodev Chaudhuri said he is leaving with mixed feelings.
“I would stay here forever if I could,” Chaudhuri told GamblingCompliance in an exclusive interview as he cleaned out his desk last week.
