Postcode Lottery One Of Eight Bidders After Norway U-Turn

The Postcode Lottery has applied for a licence in Norway despite previously saying that a NOK300m (€33m) annual turnover cap would make it “very difficult” to operate in the country.   

The operator has teamed up with WWF and SOS Children’s Villages to apply for the lottery licence, with the charities set to receive any profit.

The Norwegian Gaming Board this week announced that eight organisations applied for five new licences introduced in April.
