Several days before the second Super Bowl to be played in the post-PASPA era of sports betting takes place in Miami, the National Football League (NFL) continues to send mixed messages in its embrace of the genre.
On one hand, the league has embraced the casino industry in ways unthinkable just several years ago. The league last year partnered with Caesars Entertainment as its first-ever official casino partner, and one of the league’s most iconic franchises, the former Oakland Raiders, now calls Las Vegas home.
