Peru would follow Colombia down the path of online gambling regulation if either legislation introduced last week in the Peruvian Congress or a forthcoming legal proposal drafted by the country’s gaming authority is passed into law.
Two separate bills were introduced in Peru’s Congress last week — one to regulate a wide range of online casino games and sports betting, and another limited to sportsbooks at land-based casinos and online.
