Pennsylvania Set To See Staggered Online Casino Rollout

Only two casinos are set to launch internet gaming on Pennsylvania’s targeted launch date on Monday, but more are expected to follow in the coming weeks, potentially linked to their online sportsbook offerings.

Parx Casino in Bensalem was the first to announce it would begin live testing of its online casino on Monday afternoon, complete with a countdown clock on its website, and Doug Harbach, a spokesman for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), confirmed Wednesday that Penn National Gaming’s Hollywood Casino is also expecting to begin testing on the same day.

A third operator may launch on Monday as well, Harbach said, but outstanding details still need to be addressed before that can happen.
