The head of Philippine national gaming regulator PAGCOR has defended the organisation’s record amid licensee turmoil, while promising tighter regulation of online gambling operators and enhanced security.
Four days after Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte told tax-delinquent online gaming operators to pay up or suffer severe consequences, PAGCOR Chairman Andrea Domingo said her organisation is following the law but moving to enhance its performance.
Domingo today told the inaugural Philippine edition of the G2E Asia expo and conference that technical challenges have hampered the proper regulation of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) licensees.
