As the Oregon Lottery finalizes its plans to introduce sports betting next month, a Native American tribe will be the first to launch wagering on sports next week when they offer a full menu of betting options, including both professional and collegiate sports.
The Oregon Lottery was expected to launch its mobile wagering app by the start of the professional football season on September 5, but The Oregonian in Portland reported that launch date could be delayed as the lottery continues testing of the app.
Betting on college sports will not be part of the Oregon Lottery’s “Scoreboard” sports wagering game.
