Virginia’s House and Senate have both passed bills to regulate online sports betting, giving lawmakers just under one month to reconcile differences between the measures before the state’s legislative session ends on March 7.
Online sports betting took two giant steps forward in Virginia on Monday when the state’s House of Delegates voted 69-29 to pass House Bill 896 and the Senate separately passed Senate Bill 384 by a margin of 27-12.
