Ninja Casino Sued In First Test Of Sweden's 'Moderate' Ad Rules

The Swedish Consumer Ombudsman has sued a Global Gaming 555 subsidiary over marketing for its Ninja Casino brand, in what will be the first test of a requirement that Swedish gambling advertising be “moderate”.

The ombudsman considers Ninja Casino in breach of consumer legislation requiring moderation in gambling advertising, citing phrases such as “Profit off the bank in five minutes”, “Play for millions without registration”, “You can take home the millions” and “BET NOW!”.
