With Democratic Assemblyman Gary Pretlow’s concerns alleviated when it comes to cheating in online poker, two bills legalizing internet poker are expected to be reintroduced this year in the New York legislature.
During the fall of 2016, Pretlow, chairman of the Assembly Committee on Racing and Wagering, met with officials at the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to review their processes for monitoring online poker operations.
“They have people working together to make sure everything is monitored and recorded which I wasn’t aware of,” Pretlow told GamblingCompliance.
