The diminishing role of the U.S. Congress in sports-betting regulation continued to fade this week after a New Jersey congressman announced he is pulling the plug on a bill once considered a potential vehicle for federal oversight.
Speaking to the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) on Wednesday, Democrat Frank Pallone of New Jersey said he will no longer seek passage of his measure called the GAME Act.
