New Jersey’s chief gaming regulator on Wednesday said his goal is to surpass Nevada as the top sports-betting market in the United States.
“They [Nevada] are the leader. I want us to be the leader,” said David Rebuck, director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).
“My mission is very simple,” Rebuck told GamblingCompliance during an exclusive interview in his office near the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
“I want us to be the leader in sports wagering in the United States — for all the issues — period,” Rebuck said.
