New Jersey reported record monthly sports-betting handle and online gaming revenue in August amid the return of major U.S. professional sports that had been sidelined for three months by the coronavirus pandemic.
Figures released Monday by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) show bettors wagered $678m last month, or more than double the $315m bet in July.
