In his first public address, the Netherlands’ new chief gambling regulator has promised to produce an operator’s manual and foster a culture of collaboration, but acknowledged that his oversight of the market will be defined by an impending political decision.
René Jansen became the executive chairman of the Netherlands regulator the Dutch Gambling Authority (KSA) last week, replacing the outgoing Joop Pot, who was the last remaining member of the KSA’s founding board to depart.
